I'm counting down to this event - the Delicious Festival at the Blue Hills Equestrian Estate in Kyalami on 5 and 6 October 2013, and we're not only giving away two sets of four tickets each to the festival, but two vouchers each (R4o0 from Converse, and R400 from Mille, which can be used at the pop-up stores).
This festival is going to be awesome for kids and adults, and this is what you can expect:
For kids, there will be a DStv Kids’ Zone, sponsored by Converse and Mille children’s clothing, including the DStv Kids’ Singing Contest hosted by Junior Idols and the DStv Kids’ Cook-off hosted by Junior Masterchef.
There will be magic shows and puppet shows, a photo booth that uses green-screen technology (so kids can have fun posing in front of different backgrounds and settings), and fun crafts and decoupage classes.
DStv will also show screenings of its children’s channels twice a day during the festival, with popcorn and refreshments thrown in. Characters from some of the kids' TV shows will also make an appearance.
For adults, there are pop-up restaurants with food by three top UK celebrity chefs – Aldo Zilli, Ed Baines and Michelin-starred John Burton Race, and a huge food market.
You can picnic on the grass and enjoy music by the likes of Jamiroquai, Prime Circle, Khuli Chana, Lira, Danny K, MiCasa, BlackByrd and Household Funk.
